The books are back on track

Sorry for the long delay. It seems one of the books has taken a liking to Portland, Oregon. Book II has been passed onto another very talented artist living there. Martin Ontiveros is a painter and a legend. Wizard in training and a Rock & Roll soldier. We look forward to what Martin comes up with. Martin's pictures can be seen at http://www.martinhead.com/

Book I has landed in the hands of Brooklyn based artist Christopher David Ryan. A daydreamer, pseudo-scientist, wanna-be astronaut and untrained intellectual. His work is really something worth looking at. Beautiful lines and subtle tones make up some truly inspiring images. Check out Christopher's personal site at http://www.cdryan.com/

Keep an eye out for future movement.

Departure Date Set

Well, the date's finally set and the books will shortly be on their way to two fabulous artist's.

On Monday 12th November, 2007 Book I will be posted to Ashleyg from St.Louise. MO, USA. Ashley's pictures are filled with delightful characters and creatures inspired by her vivid imagination as a child. Old trees and lairs create a beautiful landscape for her often elusive & shy characters.

Book II will arrive with a wonderful husband and wife team called, APAK. Ayumi & Aaron Piland reside in Portland. Oregon, USA. APAK's subjects are often a combination of wild animals and innocent children. Beautiful mushroom houses and picnic settings adorn their artworks. Much like Ashleyg, nature is paramount in their work.

Look out for the books . They could be headed your way.

How far can two little art books travel?

Very soon, two small art books will embark on an epic journey around the Globe. Departing from Sydney, Australia, these two sketch books will head across the Pacific and make their way to two yet to be disclosed destinations. Artist's who receive a book are invited to donate a small picture and then pass it on to a friend within the art community.

Once the books are full and return to Sydney from their vacation they will be published for the whole world to share. All artist's details will be credited along with dates and countries visited.

Lookout for updates & more photos very soon.
